We have seen a lot of cases where the SOLR refresh gets stuck and we have to move the case to the Unilog team so they can kill the session from the backend of the database. Many of these cases are critical to the customer because they need the SOLR refresh to get new items on the site.
If there was an option to kill/reset the SOLR refresh from the customer facing UI, we could fix these SOLR issues instantly, and save a lot of cases from being logged.
