Identifies products with similar characteristics and automatically groups them for optimal display on an eCommerce site.
How it works:
The user initiates a grouping review, and the agent analyzes product attributes to suggest logical groupings (e.g., variants, kits, related products). Over time, it can be configured to auto-create groupings that meet pre-set rules without requiring user input.
Customer Value:
Delivers a more intuitive and shoppable online experience, improving cross-sell, upsell, and variant navigation while saving time on catalog management.
Role:
Subscriber
There are two varieties of this feature, one should be focused on building Product Groups, reviewing the differentiators defined in the selected category, scanning all items by brand and model number, identifying those items that differ only by those defined differenting attributes, building a product group description, defining the sort order of the items in the group based on a logical ordering of the differentiating attribute values (i.e. not alphabetical, but Small Medium Large).
The second variety would find linked items, user would select a linked item type and category, the agent would scan the category, identify items that could benefit from that linked item type (an undermount kitchen sink requires Sink Clips to be install), the agent would scan the remaining items in the catalog to identify potential items, based on a confidence score these relationships are presented to the user for validation/approval.
